In 2004, Anton Sandqvist, his brother and a childhood friend founded the Sandqvist brand in Stockholm. From the very beginning, their aim was to emphasize the role of functionality in their bag and backpack designs. At the same time, they demanded that they always pay attention to sustainability and environmental compatibility. And so the original side project quickly turned into a full-time job for the three founders. They really hit a nerve: well-produced, design-oriented and practical bags, backpacks and accessories were a rarity back then. The fair price and the extreme longevity are still among the cornerstones of the Sandqvist brand philosophy.
